I approached undergraduate research by trying different areas of machine learning to figure out what I liked. Along the way, I realized that I actually enjoy working on many different things and drawing connections between them. This map is a record of the research directions I explored, and how they branched into what I work on today.
Hover over a research area to preview its publications, or click a node to keep its details open.
These paths group related research directions, not exclusive periods of work. The degree marker indicates the transition from undergraduate to master's studies; some publications appeared after their underlying research was completed.
